The event begins from Confederation Basin where spectators can come and check out the boats on Friday night and then spend the day on Saturday watching the boats take off, checking out classic car displays and listening to live music The 2019 1000 Islands Poker Run takes place on August 16th-17th. Along with the power boats there will be live music Friday and Saturday as well. Friday has the likes of Dead root Revival and Oakridge Avenue.
